Arts4Youth: DanzAbierta

Friday, March 23, 2018

Dance Kids & Families University City & West Philly

Direct from Cuba, the award-winning DanzAbierta makes its Philadelphia debut with Malson (2009), a sharp and melancholic love letter to Havana based in a virtual world of relationships and conflict. Cuba’s bustling streets, colorful cityscapes and blue sea come alive in film vignettes that partner with high-energy movement and original music by renowned Afro-fusion composer X Alfonso.

This performance is part of our Arts4Youth series. For more information and to order tickets, call 215.573.8827 or email groups@ac.upenn.edu.
