Monday Poets Addendum: Look & See: A Portrait of Wendell Berry

Monday, December 11

Community Film Parkway District

The Parkway Central Library is thrilled to host a screening of the Sundance documentary Look & See: a cinematic portrait of farmer and writer Wendell Berry.

The first documentary about Wendell Berry, Look & See captures the rolling hills and close-knit community of Berry's his home community of Henry County, Kentucky. Through Wendell’s eyes, we see both the changing landscapes of rural America in the era of industrial agriculture and the redemptive beauty in taking the unworn path.

The film sparks conversations that are more urgent now than ever, as we find ourselves in a deeply divided nation where urban consumers remain so completely disconnected from the rural producers whose work sustains our very lives.
