Blow-Up

Film Suburbs & Beyond

In swinging 1960s London, a fashion photographer may have uncovered a murder in the background of his latest snaps. Director Antonioni’s first English-language film is a highly stylized psychedelic exploration of murder, culture, and the nature of perception itself. Cinematographer Carlo Di Palma lends his eye to this pivotal art film that broke through to mainstream success.
