Family Cooking: Tiny Treats with BIG FLAVOR

Saturday, February 10

Community Food & Drink Kids & Families Parkway District

In this interactive workshop, parents and caregivers with children ages five to twelve will have the opportunity to create tiny treats that are big on flavor. Inspired by the Free Library's current exhibition, Big and Small: Books for All, participants will roll up their sleeves and make mini cupcakes and bite-sized energy circles that are filled with delicious, exciting ingredients. We’ll then package your treats, so they’ll be ready to share with someone special for Valentine’s Day. This class is led by two instructors: Lindsey Bloom and Amy Danford, both early childhood museum educators with a passion for cooking and experimenting in the kitchen!
