A Classical Evening at the Curtis Institute

Thursday, March 22

Jazz Music Downtown

If you haven’t experienced pianist Michelle Cann’s “contrapuntal dexterity worthy of Palestrina or Bach,” you’re behind the times, but not out of luck. Cann brings audiences to their feet at venues like the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the Perelman Theatre at the Kimmel Center. Join WHYY for a more intimate experience with this “sparking virtuoso.” Enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres as Cann performs and later sits down for a conversation with On Stage at Curtis’ producer Lillian Paulmier.

WHYY has been following Michelle Cann since the beginning. We captured her graduation recital in this feature from On Stage at Curtis.

Proceeds from this event support WHYY programs and services.
