Cléo from 5 to 7

Wednesday, May 30

Film Suburbs & Beyond

After an ominous palm reading, pop-singer Cléo spends two desperate hours awaiting the results of a cancer test. Shot in real time, Cléo’s journey through 1960s Paris comes to form a map of her shifting thoughts and moods. With this film, “Godmother of the French New Wave” Agnès Varda announced herself as a major director and introduced one of the great characters of French cinema.
