Summer Art Camp

Art Community Kids & Families University City & West Philly

Join the University City Arts League’s stellar Teaching Artists for four, two week long creative arts camps.

Campers will get three different arts classes each day in 2D Art, 3D Art, Wearable Art, Media Arts, Pottery, and Dance & Theatre!

Each session of camp is loosely structured around a theme to spark imagination and creativity.

Each session is a 2 week long program Monday through Friday.

Sessions & Themes:

Camp 1: July 2 – 13 (no camp on 4th of July, camp runs for 13 days): Science Fiction – Outer Space, Future Tech, Afrofuturism, War over some Stars?

Camp 2: July 16 – 27: Planet Earth: Habitats, Ecosystems & Humanity

Camp 3:  July 30 – August 10: What IS art anyway? Contemporary Art and Context

Camp 4: August 13 – 24:   Fantasy – Dragons, Wizards, Heroines and Heroes!
