Do you have a DSLR, mirrorless, or high-end point and shoot camera that seems more complicated to use than a home entertainment system? Do you shoot on auto all the time and get frustrated with how your pictures end up looking? If so, this workshop is a must for anyone interested in understanding their camera thoroughly. You will learn how to use all the settings and functions of your camera in manual mode, as well as lens selection, and what to look for when upgrading equipment. Workshop topics include aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focal length, correct exposure, and the advantages of shooting in different file formats. This workshop is the first step in gaining control over your photography.
Please bring your digital camera. If weather permits, we will be going outside to photograph, so please bring appropriate attire.
