Night & Low Light Photography

Thursday, December 6

Art Downtown

This workshop will give you a taste of the power, color, and mystery of shooting photographs in low light and nighttime and discover how night photography opens a whole new world of creative potential. We will start the session with a discussion of the basics: ISO, tripod use, Live View Focusing, cable releases, and White Balance. Then we’ll head out into the low light and start practicing the newfound skills.  At the end of the workshop you’ll have the chance to show off your new images and receive some constructive feedback on how to fine-tune them.

*Participants should have a working understanding of their camera’s shutter speed, aperture, and ISO.
