Come discover treasures in the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Print Study Room. You’ll get a special behind-the-scenes tour of fine art prints and drawings not normally available to the public. Together we will look at collage, mixed media and monotypes, learn how they were made, and learn how they are relevant to us today. We’ll discover how artists used print processes to make art and communicate ideas.
Please bring a notepad and something to write with.
We’ll meet at 10 am in the lobby of the Perelman Building, 2525 Pennsylvania Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19130. The tour will last until noon, and will include admission to the museum if you want to visit the galleries after our tour.
