Teacher Workshop: Black Art, Black Voices

Explore how Black artists from the past and present express identity, challenge racism, and shape culture. In this workshop, museum educators will model ways to use slow looking as a process to consider multiple perspectives, identify implicit bias, cultivate empathy, and reflect on the role of art in social change.

This program is part of an ongoing project by educators at the museum to use art as a tool for antiracist education.
