The Time in Between an Interactive Installation and Dance Work by the Naked Stark

UCAL is honored to host an interactive installation by The Naked Stark in our backyard beginning April 16th! This installation will be completed in a virtual dance performance that you can view at 7pm on May 15 and 16. the time in between an interactive installation and dance work by The Naked Stark:

We miss what was, we are deeply unsatisfied by what was, we are not who we were and we are not who we will be. the time in between is a celebration of the spiral of time, our ability to be new to ourselves, and the beauty of reconnecting, remaking, revealing, returning, reseeing, remembering, redancing.

The Naked Stark collaborators Chloe Marie Newton, Harlee Trautman, Katherine Kiefer Stark, and Marisa Illingworth invite you to join us in the time in between through words, movements, folds, drawings, and performance.

The University City Arts League is hosting us in their backyard, where we are creating an interactive installation and filming a video dance we will share at a virtual performance. April 16 – May 16, come visit the backyard, engage with the installation, and contribute to the project. For those of you unable to get to UCAL in West Philly, The Naked Stark will offer an experience you can engage with at home and an activity you can complete and mail to us. We hope you all will join us May 15 and 16 at 7pm for a virtual performance of the dance and a celebration of our collective efforts.
