Fridays January 4, 11 &25
In this workshop, we will develop observational and drawing skills that are useful for many forms of painting including landscape, still life, portrait and non-representational subjects.
Understanding how light and volume interact allows us to fully consider form and edge, choose colors with intent and provide additional avenues for depiction of depth in our work.
Students will work from various objects and landscape references, and will learn a basic technique for adapting photo references for greater depth. All skill levels welcome.
