The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts

The Kimmel Center for Performing Arts serves as home to eight Resident Company performing arts organizations, including The Philadelphia Orchestra, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Ballet, Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, American Theater Arts for Youth, PHILADANCO, Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, and Peter Nero and the Philly Pops. Kimmel Center, Inc.'s mission also includes arts in education, community outreach and a rich diversity of programming through its Kimmel Center Presents and Broadway Series of performances.

Transportation

Subway:
The Broad Street Subway's Walnut-Locust Station is located two blocks from The Kimmel Center. Market-Frankford and Subway Surface riders should make a free transfer to the Broad Street Line at the 15th & Market stop.

Bus:
Routes C, 27, and 32 travel along Broad Street. Route 12 runs east-west along Locust and Walnut Streets. Other nearby buses include Routes 9, 21, and 42, which run along Walnut and Chestnut Streets.
