WHYY

WHYY, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation chartered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to operate TV12 and WHYY FM, the public broadcasting stations serving southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and South Jersey.

TV12 is an award-winning producer of local and national public television programming and is the primary outlet for such staples as The Newshour With Jim Lehrer, Wall Street Week, Sesame Street, This Old House, and Nova.

WHYY FM is also an award-winning station, a National Public Radio member and the producer of Fresh Air with Terry Gross, and Voices in the Family with Dr. Dan Gottlieb, live, regularly scheduled, national programs originating in Philadelphia.

WHYY offers public tours of its Technology Center every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Please make your reservations 4 weeks in advance by contacting Harriet Blanchard at 215-351-1293 or hblanchard@whyy.org.
